Machine Setter

Our client, a major supplier of Vacuum forming packaging for the retail industry are looking to employ a skilled machine setter for their Night Shift.

Responsible for tool changing and setting on vacuum forming and associated machines within the factory as required by the production plan. To make required adjustments during production runs to maintain quality and productivity.

• Skills in processing and optimisation on Kiefel
and Illig Vacuum forming presses.
• Experience in a supervisory role and be able to
work to tight deadlines.
• To understand and be able to apply modern
manufacturing techniques.
• Support manufacturing lines to achieve quality,
cost and delivery targets.

As part of the factory team, contribute to productivity and morale by communicating problems promptly to management and by helping out other staff as and when required.

This is a Night Shift position working Sunday to Thursday 2200 - 0600.

22 days holiday plus B/H and a Stakeholder pension scheme are in operation.
