Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer for a 12 month contract position in Ashington.

The successful candidate will have a proven project engineering track record in thermal, coal fired plant, carbon capture or complex process

Normal working hours are Monday – Friday 08.30 – 17.00 although they have an outage late June and the hours will be 10 hours a day, 6 days a week

Brief spec –

Prepare, manage and deliver multiple and concurrent engineering projects

Prepare outline concept, specifications and contract documents

Manage project preparation and execution process

CDM co-ordination


Required –

Proven project engineering track record in thermal, coal fired plant, carbon capture or complex process

HNC or degree in mechanical engineering or similar

Relevant project based experience and ability to work within corporate guidelines

Good communication skills, strong technical bias and understanding of HSE legislation, CDM, contract and team leadership.
