Development Consultants - Wind Power/Renewable Energy

Our client are seeking to appoint a number of Senior Development Consultants to further compliment the dynamic Development team.

This role will report directly to the Director of Development and will support him to lead and support their onshore and offshore wind and other renewable technologies development consultancy services.

The Development Consultant will need excellent project management skills, preferably supported by a high level of technical experience and knowledge. This role will provide focus and input to a variety of client’s projects throughout the renewable energies market.

The role will form part of a team implementing development consultancy services, supporting the management of key accounts and new business.

A proven track record in onshore and/or offshore wind renewables would be preferable, however equivalent experience with other energy projects will be considered.

Key attributes

Essential

Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial renewable energies or development environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Ability to demonstrate good client management skills
Good understanding of development issues in the renewable energies market

Advantageous

Good understanding of key renewable technologies, either offshore & onshore wind
An appreciation of the regulatory processes in Renewables Development
