CNC Project Manager to £32,000 plus benefits

Location: Swindon

The CNC Project Manager will work as part of a team to take new products from initial design to repeat manufacture, implementing Design for Manufacture techniques in conjunction with the New Product Development, Design and Quality teams. The Manufacturing Engineer / Project Manager will liaise closely with all disciplines to produce projects on time, to budget and within the company’s ISO management system.

The successful CNC Project Manager will possess a relevant qualification in mechanical and / or Production Engineering and demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment. The role requires good communications skills, the ability to analyse data and apply new technologies, with a high degree of self motivation. A good knowledge of CNC programming techniques is essential, and knowledge of CAD / CAM, jig and tool design, design for manufacturing principles and metal finishing processes will also be advantageous.
