Field Sales Representative

The Role:

Primarily responsible for developing and managing effective relationships with new and existing clients, getting to understand individual business needs and co-developing strategies to increase market share, turnover and profit. The holder of the position must be able to absorb knowledge about products that can be readily imparted to our customers.

Regions: Based in Northern Ireland, covering southern Ireland areas

The Position:

The successful applicant for this role will have relevant experience in a similar role and possess a proven track record of delivering against targets and budgets. Excellent communication skills and a positive, strategic sales ethos is a pre-requisite for this vital role. It is also desirable for the candidate to have commercial experience and within the pharmaceutical industry

Responsibilities and Key Skills:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a client facing sales or business development role
• Experience in the B2B sector is desirable
• Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets and working to strict daily deadlines.
• Developing new client accounts through lead generation, market research and cold calling and managing established client accounts
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good planning, follow-through, and organisation capability
• Excellent negotiation skills at all levels and an effective team player
• A good working knowledge of your territory and high accountability for achievement.
• Good IT skills and financial acumen
• Hold full UK driving licence

Qualifications Required:

Degree level qualification or equivalent; Sales/Business development training.
