Part-time Finance Manager

A company based in Haverhill who have specialised in weighing solutions for over 50 years, have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their well established team on a part-time basis.

As the Finance Manager your responsibilities would include:
Highlight and report to the relevant budget holder any no compliance with internal systems or excessive expenditure that has a negative financial implication
Perform reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts from sales, bank, purchase, stock and payroll and report any variances
Assist in the production of year end Financial statements for the company and compile working file for efficient Audit of the accounts and preparation of the tax computations
Drive the annual budget process and prepare departmental information for each budget holder to efficiently produce annual profit & loss, balance and cash flow sheets
Ensure all legal requirements are met with respect to VAT, Insurance, Government returns and any other associated financial matter
Manage the accounts function and produce timely and accurate management accounts and supporting reports each period that assists management in the financial understanding, reporting and forecasting of their departments
The ideal candidate will preferably have the following skills and experience:
AAT, part qualified or other formal qualifications would be advantageous
Able to gather, analyse and summarise data
Computer literate, to include Microsoft Office
Effective oral and written communication skills
A good team player
