Description:
ARMs Client, a Multidisciplinary Civil Consultancy required an Associate to work within their Transport Planning Division. A Very Senior Role based in London, The key objective is to assist in developing the development planning business in the south of England and be responsible for project delivery. The individual would also be expected to participate in business and commercial planning for Development Planning in the south. The individual should have (or at least be developing) his/her own client/contact base and preferably be a recognised name in the private (and possibly public) sector who clients return to for advice on a regular basis. The individual should have all the core traffic engineering skills, excellent interpersonal skills and have a thorough understanding of the planning system and preferably have acted as an expert witness at Public Inquiries/Hearings. He/she should be able to lead a team of planners/engineers and ideally come from an engineering background although not absolutely essential. Project direction/management/business development/networking/client care are key competencies of this role.
