Role

This role is a full-time temporary contract to cover maternity leave until the end of July 2006.

The successful applicant will be part of a busy team that provides both day-to-day and long-term marketing development solutions for the company. The role will include helping to maintain and develop the company intranet and websites, producing presentations and company documentation and conducting research to assist with future new media marketing developments.


Key Competencies

You will be required to juggle several tasks with accuracy and efficiency and to work well under pressure. We are looking for an individual with an awareness of marketing concepts.


Skills:
• Excellent written and spoken English

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• First rate communication skills

• You will be proficient at using all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and be an experienced Internet user.

• Knowledge of HTML/Dreamweaver and a graphics package such as Photoshop or CorelDraw would be an advantage.

Qualifications:
• Marketing degree preferred but not essential

Personal Qualities:
The ideal candidate will be a personable team-player with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and an approachable disposition.

Experience
• Experience of presenting to and/or training others within the workplace would be an advantage.
• At least 1 year’s experience within a marketing and/or new media/multimedia environment
