Our client, a leading product design consultancy based in Cardiff is currently looking to expand their team by the recruitment of a Design Engineer. The ideal candidate for this position will need to have had an engineering background, preferably with some exposure to the manufacturing of products, have knowledge of utilising a wide range of materials in your design, experience of plastic injection mouldings, metal fabrications, castings and/or extrusions and have the ability to produce production ready drawings. Knowledge of Solidedge would be beneficial although not essential.
