Renewable Energy Consultant

Major UK based consultancy requires a renewable energy consultant to join their Edinburgh office. Responsibilities will include: project delivery on a wide range of renewable energy projects technical sales support and proposals preparation.
Suitable candidates should hold a BSc Engineering or Physical Science; and ideally a Second Degree in Renewable Energy preferable.
A broad range of renewable energy-related project experience is required, covering site selection, project feasibility and outline site design; experience of developing and maintaining GIS services; experience of environmental assessment of wind farms and/or wind farm construction advantageous. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, ideally with consultancy experience, and should be well organised, a good teamworker, customer focused, flexible, confident, computer literate with experience of industry standard energy appraisal and GIS software packages. The ideal candidate might currently employed by a wind farm developer/consultancy.
Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience, but certainly competitive within the market, and excellent scope for future progression exists.
