Information Technology, Information Systems Manager
My client is looking to recruit a Senior IT Manager to work out of their central London offices. Your key areas of responsibility will be Production Management (technical management of 3 web site production environments), Release Management and Management of the Service Desk.
Technically, you will have advanced UNIX based production system design experience and UNIX administration (HP, SUN, Linux), you will have a good understanding of server hardware and connectivity and excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies used in supporting departmental services.
As a manager, you will: be able to manage a team of 10 internal staff, be comfortable managing relationships with external suppliers, have strong Project Management skills and experience, have excellent budget management and be delivery focused.
The successful candidate will have 12-15 years experience in the IT field and particularly on production system design, implementation and operation.
