Responsibilities: § Assembly of equipment including mechanical components powered by electric motors, connecting transmitters, data loggers and digital processor units together etc. § Reading circuit diagrams or engineering diagrams in order to build prototypes. § Testing equipment against design criteria (using electronic units such as volt meters, oscilloscope and frequency meters etc). Experience & Skills: § HNC plus two years experience of electro-mechanical test and build. § Electronic faultfinding and interpreting electronic circuit diagrams. § Circuit soldering. § Flexible, team worker, adaptable and agile. Salary & Package: £19,000 to £21,000 plus pension
