Recently upgraded, state of the art production plant. European leader of a specialist product line in a stable market. Responsibilities: § Engineering improvements to increase material yield and production operation costs, and minimise overheads. § Improve operator efficiency, shop floor layout, overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and support wider kaisen projects. § Support capital investment projects. Experience & Skills: § Pro-active approach to problem solving, and efficiency improvement of operator, machine and layout. § Qualified Engineer. § Able to meet the challenge of a busy factory environment. § Experience in plastic moulding and / or automotive manufacturing is an advantage. Salary & Package: £20,000 to £26,000 salary plus company benefits, training and excellent prospects (the job can develop into several career options in the quality, project or production teams).
