Senior PCB Designer

Schematic entry (from paper notes or verbal description).
PCB layout (multilayer, fine-pitch BGAs)
Incoming inspection of PCBs (prototype quantities)
CAD software maintenance (including library footprint/model creation and control).
Liaison with PCB fabs ? obtaining quotes, trying new PCB technologies.
The role involves working within a team of engineers designing products around 's integrated circuits. Designs vary from proof-of-concept circuits through to systems that are mass produced in their millions. An emphasis is placed on low-cost design.
Applicants will have at least 3 years multi-layer PCB layout experience, preferably involving fine-pitch BGAs. Experience of GHz RF layout (e.g. controlled impedance) would be advantageous (but not essential), as would an up-to-date working knowledge of Protel.
