Contracts Manager

Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager, experienced in managing large subcontracts in Civil Engineering projects (I.e contractual agreements - estimates, penalties etc)
or formal Building contracts for a subcontractor providing any "substantial" structural elements such
as:

* Piling
* Ground work
* Tunnelling
* Drilling
* Guniting
* Earth-moving
* Structural Steel

The post, newly-created due to our continuing growth, is to be based in their head office in their piling division Lancashire.
The role involves managing jobs once we have been awarded them, with a strong focus on cost control.

We think that experience in the later stages of construction (e.g. joinery, cladding, roofing, would not be sufficiently relevant).

Salary negotiable.
