Hardware Development Engineer

This , reporting into the wireless system team is central to the development of 's product range.
The position involves the development of complex FPGAs and printed circuit boards for 's Baseband Development Platforms and Reference Designs.
The profile of the ideal candidate would have the following characteristics:
Experience of developing complex SOC based products
Verilog, VHDL Design
Altera, Xilinx FPGA development flow
Board level integration and test
Writing 'C' and assembler code on embedded processors
Development of low-level hardware drivers
Use of real-time embedded debug tools
Use of logic analyser and digital signal generator tools
Development of test equipment control code - GPIB
Customer support
A potential candidate should have an excellent academic background (at least a 2:1 degree from a top-tier university) and at least 3-5 years experience. They should also be highly motivated, capable of working autonomously and excited by the prospect of working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
