Construction Manager

Construction Manager - Salary Negotiable

Our clients are leading homebuilders in the UK and urgently require:

Responsibilities:

 Responsible for construction of all works, ensuring efficiency and quality, with due regards to safety of workers, public and environment.
 Reporting all construction issues to Project Director.
 Co-ordinate the various system procedures, and proactively seek out problems and devise effective resolution to ensure construction progress is not at risk.
 Deal with senior level customers and co-ordinate any problems they might have with senior site personnel
 Ensuring good lines of communication within and outside the construction team
 Managing financial aspects of the construction works
 Along with safety advisor carry out monthly investigations into accidents/incidents on site and report recommendations to Project Director

Requirements:

 Knowledge of appropriate Health and safety and work acts, welfare regulations, construction design and management regulations, and other statutory legal requirements of the Contract
 Competent to undertake duties and responsibilities prescribed on behalf of the Principal Contractor
 Ability to carry out Risk assessments, site inspection and safety audits in accordance with procedures
 Experience with Construction industry to ensure hiring and placing the right operatives at the right places
 Good communicator and leader to manage and motivate subordinate staff
