Design Engineer

Our clients are leading homebuilders in the UK and urgently require:

Design Engineer - Salary Negotiable

Responsibilities:

 Provide engineering support for all departments within the region.
 Implement the requirements of group policy on H&S
 Prepare technical feasibility in conjunction with Land/Commercial departments.
 Design of site in conjunction with Architect to ensure value engineering
 Brief and coordinate external consultants and ensure that economic design and group practices are adopted.
 To provide engineering designs if required.
 Coordination of service infrastructure.
 Production and administration of conveyance plans where appropriate.
 Provide technical support for sites
 Obtain consents from regulatory bodies for required sections.
 Providing added value through technical excellence and risk minimization within the design and construction process, including value engineering analysis.
Requirements:

 Extensive experience of design and construction is required.
 Experience with CAD
 Good presentation and reporting skills, with ability to interrogate client’s brief.
 Competence with MS-office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc)
