Architectural Technician/Designer

Our clients are leading homebuilders in the UK and urgently require an Architectural Technician/Designer.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects for an agreed selection of house types/apartments.
• Produce/amend planning and working drawings for the house type/apartment range including support details.
• Co-ordinate working designs the various specialist suppliers
• Liaise with the Regional offices and Site for feedback/problems
• Liaise with the NHBC, resolving any queries and maintaining house type approvals.
• Embrace Health & Safety CDM proposals as a part of normal office procedure.


Requirements:

• Knowledge of house building techniques, construction and building Regulations
• Several years experience with house building company or from practice, dealing with construction
• Functional Technical qualifications : CAD and HNC or ONC
• Technical/Specialist Competencies:
 Building Regulations
 Co-ordination Skills
 Health & Safety CDM
• Proven skills for delivering large projects on time
• Team player with ambition to succeed
