Maintenance Electrician

Install and maintain electrical installations in the factory and assist with general maintenance. To carry out special ad hoc project work as and when required

Key duties and responsibilities
· Ensure electrical equipment is maintained to latest IEE Wiring Regulations
· Provide an efficient response to breakdowns on a timely basis
· Assist in compilation of maintenance schedules
· Co-ordinate routine maintenance work with departmental managers
· Ensure routine maintenance is completed on a timely basis and in accordance wit6h the maintenance schedule
· Identify and report potential hazards to departmental managers and Senior Process Engineer
· Ensure maintenance and testing of security and fire alarms are completed on a timely basis and in accordance with pre-defined schedule
· Contribute to compilation of schedule of work as and when required for special projects
· Ensure all project work is carried out on a timely basis and according to the pre-defined schedule
· Report any hazards identified during project work to Senior Process Engineer
· Supervise sub-contractors' works as and when required
· Comply with all relevant company and departmental Health, Safety and environmental policies and procedures at all times
· Any other duties that may be required by the company to meet business requirements
Qualified to latest IEE Wiring Regulations·
Conversant with electronic control systems·
Conversant with Microsoft Excel & Outlook
Education and experience
Good standard of Education·
City & Guilds electrical qualification or similar
