Job Title: Piping Designer
Location: Ulsan, Korea
Schedule: July 2005 – October 2006
Job Description:
The Piping Designer is a member of the Offshore project team in Ulsan, Korea
monitoring HHI’s detailed design and fabrication of a Gas Gathering
Compression Platform) and a Non-Associated Gas Well Platform). Job
responsibilities include the following:
• Review of piping design
• Review of piping support design
• Review of PFDs & P&IDs
• Review of equipment layouts
• Review of 3D PDMS models
• Safety in Designs (SID) manual compliance
• Drawing coordination for all disciplines
• Expediting as-built drawings
Candidates shall have a minimum of seven (7) years of piping engineering & design
experience working on offshore projects. Previous experience working with HHI in Korea is
desirable.
Candidates may be from any geographic region or of any nationality. Selection shall be
based upon technical skills and related job experience. However, proficiency in English, both
in oral and written communication skills, is a critical requirement.
