Production Engineer

1. Responsible for producing CNC programs from designs and technical drawings. This will include: Producing progams, BOM’s and routings to the latest issue drawings Providing technical support for the production department Designing tools, jigs and fixtures for work holding2. To identify root causes and rectify problems through recognised process improvement techniques.3. Product improvement and introduction in line with the company quality procedure.4. To specify, implement and audit manufacturing processes to support Production department.5. Attend regular project meetings and produce timing plans to meet customer requirements.6. To specify, order and install equipment in line with company requirements.7. To ensure work is of a high standard and quality.8. To take responsibility and show initiative in product quality.9. To work safely and promote good Health & Safety practices within the company.
