Engineering Estimator/Planner

Experienced engineering buyer is required to take overall responsibility for the procurement, planning and control of bought out materials and services.

Emphasis will be on working closely with design team, production and subcontractors to assist in specifying and achieving budget; production and quality plans.

With increasing expectations on the purchasing department this position requires a person with considerable planning and logistical skills.

The role will include drawing detailing, procurement of raw material, subcontract machining and fabrication services. The position will therefore require the experience and skills necessary to negotiate and place supply contracts on the most competitive terms.
