£Hourly Rates Negotiable
HNC qualified Mechanical Design Engineer (or equivalent) is now required for a 3 month project based contract. The successful candidate will be required to assist the project leader to produce and update drawings and documentation required to describe equipment fit to MoD vehicles.
Experience:
Previous experience in a Mechanical Design environment
Previous experience in a Project based environment
Previous experience supporting the Project Leader
Minimum 2 years AutoCAD 2000LT experience
Minimum 2 years Inventor v10 experience
Extensive experience in 3D CAD systems ( Mechanical Desktop v6 is used)
Previous experience in defence industry or off-shore industry would be an advantage
HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related subject

Ability to communicate with internal & external customers
Team player
Organisation skills
Proven Planning ability
Self-motivated
Ability to work under pressure and maintain tight timescales
