Professional Service Technician


Responsibilities
· Implementation and ongoing support for VIP’s Orator systems, including directory creation, cleaning and integration, followed by tuning and maintenance.
· Implementation of upgrades, configuration and prompt changes as requested by VIP’s clients.
· Reporting and escalation of issues to VIP Management and account manager/management team
· Support and liaison with VIP’s internal staff, partners, and customers to ensure a successful project is achieved.
· Supporting VIP’s business systems and ensuring all activity is specifically and accurately recorded.
· Reporting to/updating the Manager of Implementations

Tasks
· Project review and involvement at all stages, in particular with Orator customers
· Provide solution design and guidance to customer and/or colleagues where applicable, in particular with Orator customers
· Provide directory integration/cleansing and tuning services for Orator customers
· Updating customers with status of completed and outstanding work
· Provide assistance to the Project Technicians/Helpdesk Technicians if and when required
· Assist Project Technicians with their task in particular remote access and basic system checks

Measurement
· Quarterly review covering general development
· Peer assessment
· Customer feedback

Skills and Abilities
· Highly customer focused
· Excellent organisational skills
· Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the telephone
· Intermediate understanding of Microsoft SQL
· Ability to multi-task
