Homeless Project Worker (BME)
- Birmingham - £6.50 /hr + shift allowances – full time/part time - up to 39hrs/wk.
An experienced support worker is needed to work in temporary accommodation for a black and ethnic minority homeless project, providing advice and assistance to residents, assisting with benefits applications, interviews, referrals and undertaking advocacy services. You will also be liaising with support providers, housing providers and social services. This post involves working on a shift rota pattern, full and part-time, morning, evening and night shifts. Language skills are desirable.
