Our client is going from strength to strength and is looking to consolidate their position after a recent acquisition and expand the business further through 2006.
This is a rare and genuine opportunity for someone looking to move to a full consultancy role within 2-3 years.  The role brought about by the need to share the consultant’s workload, although it will not suit someone with little Group Pensions experience as you will report to the Divisional Director and support high achieving Pension Consultants, attending meetings on a regular basis.
You must have at least 5 years experience in
pension consultancy/administration, taking in large DB and DC schemes.  You will also have made some PMI progress.
In proving assistance to, and working closely with the consultants comprising the corporate pensions team, your time will be taken up mainly by the following:
•Maintaining central monitoring system for client advice, keeping track of deadlines.
•Arranging and preparing agenda and supporting documents for trustee meetings. Occasional attendance at trustee and other client meetings.
•Conducting meetings with individual scheme members to explain their benefits and options.
•Acting as first point of contact for consultancy clients while the consultant is out of the office
•Drafting announcements, booklets, trustee reports, presentations and other communications material.
•Research and report writing on specific subjects.
