Estates Surveyor
To contribute to the Property Planning Team’s role of identifying, analysing and delivering property change opportunities and requirements in line with the Borough’s and Service Unit’s objectives through:
· Providing valuation input and advice for corporate and financial management purposes and to the Teams Asset Management Planning, Strategic Property Review and Feasibility Study activity
· Contributing to the delivery of some property transactions.
Contribute to the development of the Companys Capital Asset Strategy, working with other members of the Property Planning Team to ensure that property utilisation and financial returns are maximised, in particular by providing valuation input and advice.
Provide advice on specific situations where the company may have an opportunity to improve property portfolio returns.
Undertake and procure valuations of the companys assets to ensure optimisation of use and financial return.
Deliver valuations for corporate and financial management purposes including asset valuation, rating and insurance purposes.
Contribute to the consideration and delivery of property disposals and acquisitions.
Contribute to the delivery of the overall Unit Business Plan.
As directed complete extra ordinary property transactions that change the companys overall position and asset value and/or generate capital or revenue receipts. These to be completed with the objective of resource maximisation from the companys perspective (e.g. new lettings/lease variations and restructure/major covenant approvals etc).
