World-class engineering, development and management consultancy has a number of vacancies for confident, enthusiastic and ambitious information, communication and broadcast media professionals to join our team. Working within a rapidly expanding and exciting division of the company, you will be responsible for the delivery of major projects and advice to our UK and international clients.
We are seeking several candidates at Consultant and Senior Consultant level with a cross-section of experience in the private mobile radio sector. Our work is often at the leading edge of technology and how it is applied to client businesses at the very top of the private and public sector market spaces. You will be articulate, and have the commercial understanding to apply innovative technical solutions to business problems, aligned with the confidence to present these to a variety of audiences.
To apply for these positions a degree is essential, although a further qualification is desirable. Alternatively applications are welcome from candidates who have obtained full chartered membership of a relevant professional institution.
Communications Consultants 10 years experience
You will have good technical experience gained within the radio communications business either within a manufacturer, system integrator or user. Your skills should include one or more of the following areas:
Voice & Data Communications. System integration, mobile data, user terminal integration.
Radio propagation and performance Coverage planning, testing and validation
System Engineering and Design. Performance, user requirement analysis, capacity planning, fleet mapping
In addition to your core technical competences you will have good interpersonal and communication skills, be self-motivated and able to work independently or within a team, taking full responsibility for your own work.
Your experience will include concept development, completing feasibility studies, technical design, tender management, infrastructure deployment, site inspection, audit, supervision and operational support focussed on business needs. Specific experience of procuring complex Communications solutions, involving high values of equipment and services, and the associated contract development and negotiation, is very desirable.
