MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - BUSINESS DIVISION Ref. 2547
PRINCIPAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Weekly maintain & reconcile Inventory registers.
• Month end transactions analyse & reconcile Financial & physical valuation.
• Provide inventory data & analysis to management.
• Calculate service parts prices.
• Operational planning & preparation include arranging Stocktake Committee meetings.
• Internal audit.
• External Audit liaison (KPMG).
• Full physical valuation with back-up to satisfy external audit requirements.
• Confirm results including investigation / countermeasure of variances, presentation for MD.
• Automate processes, where appropriate.
• Create inventory manual.
• Create pricing model that links to monthly accounting.
• Stocktaking.
• Improve stocktake Committee and planning activity.
• Create stock take manual.
EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Essential
• Graduate/ minimum AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) studier/ Alternative Accounting Qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years accounts experience in relevant area.
• Good understanding of Profit & Loss / Balance Sheet & month end transactions.
• Background in Manufacturing preferable.
• Computer literacy - Strong Excel / Good PowerPoint skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to use own initiative & meet specified deadlines.
• A Flexible, methodical and organised approach to work.
• High level of accuracy.
Desirable
• Previous experience in a stock take activity.
