SCHEDULE CONTROLLER - Ref. 2561

PRINCIPAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Supports the development and implementation of the divisional programme schedule strategy.

• Level 1 Plan -

• Support MPR preparation of Phase based Schedule inputs

• Provide schedule reports and milestone updates as in-feeds to the level 1 schedule

• Phase Interdependencies -

• Ensure the key milestones in the Phase based level1 plans are represented in the segment detail plans (in P3).

• Maintain the milestone slip report, reporting Phase and Segment milestones, progress / slip.

• Schedule Risk Analysis -

• Support the Schedule manager in developing and maintaining Risk networks for phases / key project
deliverables.

• Work with the company risk managers to ensure the joint risk register, detail risks and risk networks
align.

• Support the Phase IPT s to construct Level1 Phase based plans

EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Essential

• Degree qualified BA or B.Sc of B.Eng.

• Up to 2 years of experience in project management/ operations Management.

• Use of schedule management tools (MS Project, Primavera etc)

• Understanding of project interdependencies and critical path analysis / PERT analysis, planning methods - BoM s, MRP

• Experience of milestone management, progress reporting and metrics.

• Able to communicate at all levels.

Desirable

• BA or B.Sc of B.Eng in a Business Operations discipline, ie Risk Management, Operations Management with
manufacturing systems, Manufacturing Systems

• Familiar with risk management methods.

• Attention to detail and pragmatic.
