Description :
The interim Process Improvement Manager will:
* Act as custodian of the Process Framework, developing it in line with best practice and the evolving needs of the Programme.
* Set up and maintain a formal change process for the Process Framework.
* Educate programme and project staff in the operation and benefits of the Process Framework.
* Establish an effective method of communicating Process Framework changes to the programme.
* Establish an effective way of capturing and addressing feedback from users of the Process Framework.
* Maintain a prioritised plan of improvements to the Process Framework.
* Interface with other business units
* Liaise with external sources of best-practise advice (e.g. OGC).
* Provide occasional support to the Projects Assurance team in performing project audits or reviews.
* Provide support as necessary to the Head of Standards and Practises.
Essential skills
* Experience of setting up and managing a process improvement process
* Experience of setting up and managing a change process
* Strong knowledge of Prince 2
* Experience of significant IT development projects/programmes
* Knowledge of Programme and Project Support Office roles and responsibilities
* Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
* Ability to contribute to improvement of related processes and standards
* Knowledge of industry standard quality process [ISO9000 or equivalent]
