ASSISTANT TEAM LEADER
Working with the Senior Team Leader, the ATL will be responsible for daily activities of a team of, up to, 12 Delivery Drivers and Assistants. The ATL will supervise the activity of the team by; helping to create daily delivery schedules; working with the delivery crews to ensure accurate and loading of customer's orders.
As part of the Depot Management team the successful candiate will have relevant supervisory experience, preferably gained in a home delivery enviroment. They should be ambitious and determined to succeed. Able to demonstrate their strong leadership qualities the ATL will motivate their team, ensuring that all members of the team understand and are able to achieve team performance targets.
The HDD operates 0700 - 1800 Mon to Fri,
All personnel are scheduled to work 5 out of 6 days and could expect to work approximately 3 Saturdays per month during peak periods. Rotas are complied on a monthly basis, one month in advance. The HDD currently operates 2 delivery teams which start at 7am and 8am respectively. This vacancy is in the team which starts at 8am.
In return the ATL will recieve a salary of approximately £16.5 to £17.5k per annum plus HDD Performanc Bonus and OT where applicable. (plus usual beneifts including life insurance whilst at work etc)
