SW Driver Development Engineers

Sophia Antipolis in the South of France.

Looking for experienced engineers to develop and maintain SW drivers, part of the system solution for 3G/2G mobile phones and User Equipment.
The consists of developing and supporing the SW drivers running on 's WCDMA/HSDPA/GSM/GPRS/EDGE baseband chipset, analogue and radio blocks.
In addition to SW driver development, Engineers will work with the system team to define hardware/software architecture and tradeoffs, as well as platform debug, trace and integration features.
The profile of the ideal candidate would have the following charateristics:
Experience of SW driver development for cellular chipsets
Use of real-time embedded debug tools
Embedded real time operating systems
'C' language programming
Experience of test under simulation environment
The candidate should have an excellent academic background (at least a 2:1 degree, or equivalent, from a top-tier university) and have at least 5 years relevant experience since graduating. They should also be highly motivated and excited by the prospect of working in a fast-paced startup environment
