European Finance Controller (Software Services Group)

For their European HQ in Slough/UK they are looking for an European Controller who will work with a team of 10 Finance staff in both the UK and France.
The Role:
Job overview:
This position represents controllership and divisional support for our Services division for EMEA and managing the Services Accounting group. This group will consolidate EMEA’s services forecasting and measurement, and will report on EMEA services revenues. This role will require someone with vision and intuition, business knowledge and understanding, systems and analytical capabilities, detail focused and reactive, as well as anticipative, able to translate a problem into a precise need, comfortable and credible in an internal facilitator role.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic
· Work with senior business managers to establish goals, strategy and direction or the services business
· Provide, and be responsible for, the financial control infrastructure within our Services business across EMEA
· The provision of requisite management information, with full analysis allowing tactical and strategic decisions to be reached
· Establish, measure and report on the performance objectives of the EMEA Services Contracts team
· Be a trusted advisor to the CA Services management organisation
Operational
· Oversee and ensure resolution for all service contract and related commission issues
· Train and assist SA employees in all phases of their work as necessary
· Manage the performance and service provided by Services Accounting employees in EMEA (3 direct reports, 10 indirect reports)
· Discuss Services Accounting results on a monthly basis with management, including financial reporting in accordance with regulations
· Establish the Services Budget for EMEA in cooperation with operational management
· Manage requests for expediting contract approval
· Manage the maintenance of information databases
· Review, approve and execute contracts
· Work on various services projects as supported by Services Accounting
The Person
Qualifications:
· Finance qualification (ACCA, ACA)
Experience / skills:
· Strong finance background of 5-10 years in a similar role, with a strong IT and finance background and sales interface
· Should have a clear understanding of management practices and process models in the IT industry, in particular within services
· Experience of and working within IT Services
· Exposure to international business and culture across EMEA
· Strong proven man-management skills
· Experience of working for a blue-chip organisation
· Worked as a business partner

· Ability to build relationships at all levels
· Must have the adequate maturity and credibility to work at and with senior management
