STG EMEA - Sales Director

Basic Function
The purpose of the job is to lead and coach half of the European salespeople to achieve the total team annual bookings target.
Responsibilities
The Software Technologies Group (STG) EMEA 2004 revenue target is $12m which will require $8m of new bookings. The Sales Director will be responsible for approx $4m from new and existing customers.
Responsible for accurate monthly forecasting and achieving the annual new bookings target.
Coach salespeople to manage their pipeline and develop larger prospects through to sale.
Play an active role whilst still allowing room for their own development.
Job Requirements
Demonstrable success with C-level executives
Demonstrable ability to work with Professional Services to sell a project of at least 20 days
Expected to travel across Europe at least 1 day per week
Education/Experience
At least 10 year track record in enterprise software sales e.g. Oracle, Peoplesoft.
At least 5 years software sales management experience
Past responsibility for >$500K personal quota and >$2M team quota
Track record of winning major deals up to $500K
Desirable
Educated to degree level
