Geneva Analyst Developer

Reports to IT Services Manager Key Tasks / Duties / Result Areas Operational Support Complete individual tasks, which may involve any combination of the following: Analysis of issues identified and raised by the business,Defining, documenting and implementing proposed solution,Providing technical advice and assistance to other IT Team members Projects Complete individual tasks, which may involve any combination of the following: Analysis of tasks, including estimating time and resources required ,Completing feasibility study, Author functional / technical design, Developing and testing new code,Providing support to the users during business testing IT Team Member Adhere to IT processes, procedures and standards, Provide technical advice and assistance to other members of the IT Team. Required Competencies/Skills Solid professional, technical and analytical skills in the following are essential: - Geneva 5.0 or a later release Oracle (8i and 9i), PL/SQL SQL, Perl, (Minimum of 3 years experience),Excellent inter-personal skills ,Highly self-motivated, team player Methodical in approach with attention to detail Strong commitment to quality,Analytically strong, able to think outside the box Competencies/SkillsKnowledge/experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous: Telecommunications industry experience Unix (Solaris) Shell Scripting Provisioning, Billing and Mediation Oracle Workflow
