Major Investment Bank has headcount for a Senior Developer/Team Lead to work on projects for the FX Options Business. You will be involved in the full project life cycle for both strategic and tactical FX Options systems, providing innovative ideas, hands-on development experience and mentoring those junior to yourself. The candidate will need at least 3 years commercial development experience with Java and will also be competant with Swing, SQL database and J2EE (JMS,JSP,XML). Supplementary experience includes C++, ANT, JBoss and VB, however these are not pre-requisites. Investment banking experience, especially in FX Options, will be very advantageous, however the client will certainly consider candidates from a financial consultancy, software house, the defence industry and high brow telecommunications companies.
