The North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust is about to embark on a new era. Medicines Management Pharmacist Grade C/D
Salary £31,604 to £41,609 per annum inclusive
In the past few months, our department has expanded from 50 staff to 65 staff and.
We have already made a fantastic start to developing the medicines management framework at NMUH!
If you feel able to meet challenges head on and lead the way to the better use of medicines, we would like to hear from you.
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team of clinical pharmacists to help develop the clinical pharmacy services to the medicine and A & E division. This post offers the opportunity to deliver an exciting agenda of pharmaceutical change.
Key responsibilities:
- Pro-actively influence prescribing within your designated area of responsibility through
integration with the medical teams.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the basic grade pharmacists that are covering the medical wards and the elderly care pharmacy, in drug history taking, POD schemes, one stop dispensing and patient counselling which are in the process of being introduced.
- Implementing and managing discharge.

You will have experience of proactively influencing prescribing within a secondary care environment and hold a post graduate qualification and be committed to the Medicine Management agenda and your own personal development.
