Qualified Social Worker- Children In Need

Degree or Diploma in Social Work, or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential, as experience carrying out social work in a fast-paced statutory setting. Previous experience working with children in need is a benefit, although there is the opportunity for this experience to be gained. Duties will include managing a caseload of children in need (CIN,) who may also be Looked After Children (LAC,) or subject to a child protection plan, undertaking assessments within statutory timescales, managing and reviewing packages of family support and permanency planning where appropriate.
