Trainee Technician - Redhill, Surrey
The Company
Our client is a major manufacturer of process control instrumentation and have offices throughout the globe.
They have a multi million dollar worldwide turnover and are particularly renowned for their range of electronic pressure and temperature measurement products. They are in the top rankings in the world market and employ 5000 employees within their group of companies and over 500 distribution employees alone.
The Role:
To carry out modifications and repairs as detailed by the picking slip within the agreed delivery date in accordance with the Company’s procedures and work instructions
To ensure that the Engineering Services Group, Procedures and Work Instructions are adhered to.
To assist in repairs and refurbishments of customer returns and the generation of detailed reports when required.
To calibrate and certify, when required, the complete company product range to the specified accuracy.
To bring to the attention of the Engineering Service Manager any shortage or defective component stock.
To ensure that the product, when ready for dispatch, is free from defect, is clean of any process materials, the quantity and product type is correct with respect to the packing notes and is presented ready for packaging.
To ensure that all work areas and the department in general are kept clean and presentable at all times.
To ensure that the Company’s Health & Safety policy is adhered to at all times.
To strive to continually improve the quality of new and existing products and services provided by the Engineering Service Group to ensure that the company meets and exceeds the expectations of its customers.
The QA inspection of stock items and customer returns when requested by the Quality Manager.
To carry out any such tasks that may from time to time be requested by senior management in order to ensure the smooth running of all departments within the company
The Successful Candidate:
Must live within travelling distance of Redhill, surrey.
Candidates working in a similar capacity would be of particular interest.
An industry qualification would be desirable although not essential as on site training will be provided.
Candidate need to be self motivated.
