Substance misuse project worker

Experience key working substance misuse clients is essential. Experience working in a drop in or needle exchange would be a benefit.



A local substance misuse service is looking for an energetic support worker to work within its drop and needle exchange. The role will involve offering advice on safer injecting and harm minimisation as well as engaging service users and entering them into treatment for their addictive behaviour. This position would give the opportunity to turn volunteer substance misuse experience into paid experience.
