Qualified Social Worker- Children and Families

Degree or Diploma in Social Work, or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential, as experience carrying out social work in a fast-paced statutory setting. Previous experience carrying out court work and handling complex cases is a benefit, although there is the opportunity for this experience to be gained. This post will involve handling a caseload of vulnerable clients, initiating court proceedings where necessary and working with children looked after. There may also be duties involving special guardianship and cases for adoption. The post offers attractive rates of pay and the potential for ongoing work.
