Account Manager
An exciting sales role within the Life Science, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sectors. Responsible both for sales of capital equipment / service contracts to new customers and managing existing accounts within a large territory. Selling into hospitals, clinical laboratories and research laboratories throughout the broad Life Sciences industry, your product range will focus on water treatment equipment, ranging from highly purified water for pharmaceutical applications, through purified water for pathology / research, to instrument decontamination devices and dialysis systems.
The sales style is very consultation and relationship orientated, striking an appropriate balance between generating ‘new’ business and developing exising accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced sales person, or a laboratory scientist with a customer support background.
Suitable candidates will have:
- BSc or higher in a relevant life science discipline
- Experience of working in hospital, clinical, research or other laboratory environments
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are vital
- Full UK driver’s licence
- Desire and aptitude for sales
- Prior sales experience is desirable
