Marketing Communications Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Communications professional. The company is a well respected multinational, well known within the Life Science, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sectors for it’s range of water treatment and purification systems. These range from highly purified water for pharmaceutical applications, and purified water for pathology / research, to instrument decontamination devices and dialysis systems. As Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating company communication activities throughout the UK and liaising with divisions in other European countries.

Your duties will include:

- drafting & executing the UK communications plan, as part of the Marcoms team

- developing internal / external communication content (press relations, advertising, editing publications)

- improvements in internal communications and realisation of current strategies

- identify and utilise synergies with other divisions, both in the UK and throughout Europe

- working out of both the company's High Wycombe and Birmingham offices

Suitable candidates will have:

- Approx 5 years experience of Markering Communications (Marcomms), either in a corporate or agency environment

- Excellent communications skills and ability to work as part of a team

- Strategic planning experience in relations to communications and press relations

- Experience of editing publications, event management, utlising the internet, internal communications and advertising

- Experience of managing complex communications projects is desired

- A background within an agency or B2B role would be advantageous

This role will involve regular travel throughout the UK and Europe.
