Activities Coordinator– Wiltshire

Activities Coordinator– Wiltshire - £6.50 p/h – Excellent Career Opportunities!!

Our client is looking for an activities coordinator or a residential caring home based in Wiltshire. You will need to assess resident’s interests, plan & manage resources, recruit and train volunteers from the community and support the activity programme. You role will include the following:-

• Maintain a balance in activities, assess plan and manage resources for the activities
• Coordinate with other departments to plan events
• Network within the community to build relationships between home & community
• Manage volunteers & involve famil7 and friends of patients
• Involve care assistants in the activities
• Create a newsletter for the resident to read regarding activities
• Ensure all aspects of health & safety are adhered to
• Build a comprehensive calendar of activities
You will need to have genuine passion for the care environment and have at least 8 months experience within a residential care home environment where by you understand the needs and requirements on a home. You will also need to be organised, lead and develop activities with confidence and a sense of fun.

Salary will start from £6.50 per hour with lots of career progression on offer!!!!!!
