Blood Borne Virus Nurse

A Nursing qualification is essential. Previous experience working with blood borne viruses is essential. Experience working with substance misuse clients would be a benefit. Car driver would be a benefit.

An East London service requires a nurse to conduct blood borne virus screening, Hepatitis vaccinations and provide advice on safer sex, safer injecting and harm minimisation to opiate and stimulant users. The successful candidate will carry a caseload of clients but will also work in a drop-in centre. The initial contract is likely to be extended and may be offered on a permanent basis to the successful candidate.
