Do you fancy doing something different? What about an influential role which offers the chance to make vital contribution to the health and well being of our residents as well as being a support function for our Assisted Living and Reminiscence Managers.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for this role and ideally holding a Registered Managers award or at least willing to work towards. Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training provided.

As well as managing a team of care assistants and working alongside the other Managers, you will be required to conduct resident assessments and update individual service plans, ensuring care is delivered to the highest standards at all times.

Other responsibilities will include ensuring all paperwork is completed to stringent standards and analysing key clinical indicators to enhance resident outcomes. As a RGN you will ideally have experience of home health, assisted living or long term care. Excellent assessment, communication and time management skills, sound judgement and IT literacy will be vital. A strong customer focus and a flexible approach to working hours will also be key to succeeding in this role.

A fantastic opportunity – this position is required for a new service registered for 90 residents opening in January 2009. If you are successful this role will start Sept 2008 with full training provided before commencing with the opening in the new year.
