REMINISCENCE MANAGER

Working in a luxurious environment you will be required to lead a large team of staff who provide real person centred care to Elderly residents who are living with dementia related conditions. The ability to motivate, engage and exercise leadership throughout the team with an open communication style will also be key to your success in this role. An excellent working knowledge of the Care Standards Act 2000 and related legislation will also be essential.

A newly built service situated in a lovely location of Reading which will be eventually occupied by 90 residents. This new service is part of a well established successful care provider whom are seeking a team of Management to run this service successfully. Alongside 2 other managers working closely together to manage this service to make it as successful as the companies reputation holds.

NVQ Level 4 and RMA qualified (or willing to work towards). A natural leader who can stimulate and encourage seniors whilst maintaining their integrity and independent spirit. Experience in dementia care and competent with completing assessments, individual care plans, designing and implementing creative activities essential.

This position is newly created for this bran new service opening in Jan 2009. This is a fantastic opportunity with the role becoming vacant August/ September 2008. A great opportunity for the potential candidate to really stamp their mark in management.
