Project Engineer - HVAC Controls

Red River's client, a leading specialist in the supply, installation and servicing of heating, ventilation and air conditioning control systems, is currently seeking a Project Engineer with significant experience in this sector, to be based at the companies facilities in East Sussex.

Qualifications, skills & experience:

* Proven track record for contracting HVAC controls projects up to £750,000.00.
* Experience in both conventional and DDC control systems together with a good knowledge of electrical motor control panels.
* Knowledge of Trend control systems is essential and experience with Cylon would be an advantage.
* Computer literacy is essential. Should be capable of writing software strategies for one of the above systems and have a full understanding of the theory of automatic controls associated with the HVAC industry.
* Capable of negotiating with clients and consultants and undertaking supervision of site meetings etc.
* Good electrical background, including the capability to design electrical control panels including motor starter circuits and safety interlocks, would be an added advantage.
* Drawings are to be prepared using a CAD design system.
* Must be capable of working under pressure and controlling project finances.
